This ALL ORIGINAL (first generation) 1961 Vulcain Nautical Alarm watch is a true rarity! This watch is quite impressive, being water resistant up to 300 metres and having an alarm feature that can be heard underwater. The diving record was st in 1961 at 222 metres by Hannes Keller and the science editor of life magazine (Kenneth MacLeish), who wore both wearing VULCAIN NAUTICAL ALARM watches which performed flawlessly. This watch is in line with the most expensive and rare Le Coultre Polaris (we will be posting soon) and ranks as the second most collectable and rare of all alarm watches produced. The massive 42mm. stainless steel case has a double membrane case back for added water resistance. This case displays STELLAR overall condition and is without scratches or dings. The original dial is as clean as you will find' having a rotating disk that displays in the aperture a decompression table based on diving depths. All the hands are original. I can't exemplify the importance of this watch. It's rare and desirous! Bankwire please.
