This is a vintage early 1940's PATEK PHILIPPE rectangular 18k. gold watch that measures a respectable 22.8x39.5mm. The case really sprawls across the width in both width and length. Notice the fabulous condition of the original case with steppe d and curved lugs-all the hallmarks are deep and clear. One can tell, the owner "babied" this fine and rare watch over the years. The manual winding PATEK PHILIPPE movement is accurate after a recent cleaning. The original dial shows usual edging on the extreme edges. With the naked eye the dial really does look quite fine.
