Description
This vintage 1960s Universal Geneve Polerouter is a very stunning watch on the wrist! The original case is full-sized, gold-capped with steel back, and measures 35mm across. The two-tone dial, having a black mid-section and raised, ridged, gold outer-edge along with Dauphine hands is original and very fine. The crown is original. The micro-rotor automatic winding Universal Geneve movement is keeping excellent time after a recent cleaning. The Polerouter was designed by famed watch designer Gerald Genta, who also created the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Omega Constellation. The Universal Geneve Polerouter was the official watch of the Scandinavian Airlines System and came to the market at the same time to introduce the new Polarouter.
