This Vadis 1940s vintage watch has a truly fabulous, original, glossy black dial with gold reflective (mirrored) inner track, 24-hour military scale, and original pencil-style hands. This watch comes close to the look of a Rolex Skyrocket from the same era! The gold-filled case with original dustproof winding crown is made by ID, which happens to be one of the case companies that produced the Rolex-Skyrocket cases. Even the winding crown is the same as the Rolex Skyrocket! The case measures 28.5mm and even retains the original domed crystal. On the wrist, the entire watch looks very clean. The minor marks on the case edge are not detracting and look much larger in my close-up photos. The manual winding Swiss movement was cleaned and is accurate.
