Description
This is an extremely uncommon and vibrant Wakmann chronograph having a (just-cleaned) Valjoux 236 manual winding chronograph movement. The movement is also correctly signed “CHARLES GIGANDET.” The chrome-top, steel-back case measures 40mm across and has a turning bezel. The dial is attractive with orange, red, and creamy highlights along with chunky baton hands. This is the colour combination we all seek and rarely find in a vintage watch! There are a few minor marks on the dial that are barely visible with the naked eye. The case displays excellent condition and is without any dings or major scratches. Breitling manufactured Wakmann watches and you can see the influence.
