Here is a 1940s Waltham in solid 14k gold housed in the usual size for the early-1940s era of watches (19×33.5mm). This watch is discreet since it is a slightly smaller size. The original dial displays vintage aging and is enhanced with Breguet-style Arabic numerals, and sword hands with sub-seconds. The manual winding Waltham movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. Rectangular watches are the most classic of all.
