Description
This vintage, 1940s 18k rose-gold Chronographe Suisse chronograph measures a large 36.5mm across and is in very fine condition without any major dings. The original and uncommon black dial is in spectacular overall shape and is highlighted with salmon, gilt print, and Arabic numerals. This truly is one of the cleanest examples of one of these Suisse chronographs! The Landeron 148 Swiss-made movement is manual winding and was recently cleaned and is accurate with all functions working perfectly. Finding original black dials on these oversized chronographs is becoming much more difficult. You really need to see this watch in real life, as it appears much more vibrant with glossy, black dial and salmon print!
