This is a vintage 1940s Rolex Prince measuring 20x43mm and housed in a gold-filled Wadsworth case, which was a correct contract case made for the Canadian market. Rolex saved duties by sending only the movement and utilizing Canadian-made cases to save on import duties. The original and incredibly fine Rolex 15-jewel Prince movement is adjusted to six positions. This dial was expertly restored and the blued steel handset is completely original and correct. The Rolex Prince is considered to be the true iconic watch known by all collectors.
