Description
Here is a very uncommon, wild, and exotic 1970s Swiss chronograph produced by the Royce watch company. We named this watch the ‘Royce Rainbow.’ Eska watch company was founded 1918 in Grenchen, Switzerland by S.& E. Kocher and registered under the name “Royce.” This watch is quite large, measuring 36x44mm in a solid block of stainless steel. These large proportions look spectacular on the wrist. The stainless steel case, having round pushers, and screw back looks very good with some minor marks from normal use. The manual winding Valjoux 7734 chronograph movement is operating smoothly after a recent cleaning and overhaul. This original and exotic dial is unlike any other chronograph you will lay your eyes upon, with multi-coloured telemeter scale for timing auto racing along with reflective, inset sub-registers having running seconds, 45-minute counter, white chrono hands, which are all very clean and without a flaw. The expensive stingray band really sets off the look. Exotic examples such as these are uncommon and can only escalate in value.
