Description
This 40mm Rolex Submariner is a fine example. The ref. 16800 was the first Submariner to appear with a sapphire crystal and high-beat movement from 1979 to 1984. After 1983, Submariners had glossy dials and white-gold markers. The automatic Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The bezel is original and displays clean condition. The beveled-lug edges are present and it appears like any polishing in the past was extremely minimal. The dial and hands are original and superb. The bracelet is original and quite long with 12 links.
