Description
This is a 36mm stainless steel ref. 1603 Rolex Datejust having a spectacularly attractive azure-blue original dial with white-gold markers and hands. The only flaw worth mentioning is some flaking on the edge of the date aperture but it is not really visible, and less with the naked eye and obscured by the bubble-date crystal. There is also a tiny flake mark near 5:00 but it is very minor. This dial features no lume on the hands or dial. I prefer the look of polished solid-white-gold hands. The Rolex automatic movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The steel case looks fantastic and has not been overpolished. I have to say, the look of this dial made me want to hang on to this watch! Coloured dials are becoming harder to find these days.
