Description
This is a large-looking vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre 18k rose-gold vintage 1950s watch. The 18k solid-rose-gold case measures 35.3mm and appears larger due to the narrow bezel and all-dial appearance. The dial with beautiful patina is original, with raised rose-gold Arabic numerals, bead markers, rose-gold sword hands, and sweep seconds. The slim rose-toned winding crown is correct. This is the more desirable European-version marked “Jaeger-LeCoultre” instead of “LeCoultre” as in the American-cased version. The very fine manual winding Jaeger-LeCoultre movement was just cleaned and is accurate. On an angle, there is some subtle dial aging that appears. Overall, this watch looks extremely fine and regal on the wrist. Both sophistication and fine quality defines this watch.
