1964 Tudor Submariner With Military Markings

Description

This is a very rare find. This is a raw and amazingly preserved Tudor Submariner 7928 dating to 1964. Finding one of these with original Canadian military markings on the case back further enhances the rarity and value of this Tudor Submariner. The gilt-rail dial is all original, including the lume and hands – beautiful and evenly aged. The fat-font bezel is original with its lume dot filled in from long time ago. The case looks much better in person. We enhanced the detail with massive pictures, but in real life the unpolished case looks great with lug bevels still visible. Any nicks could be easily laser-filled, but we love these watches to remain as they were found. The crystal was hazed and crazed so we replaced it. The caliber 390 movement was meticulously cleaned and is accurate. This was a tool watch utilized by a gentleman in the Canadian military. All the lume (including the hands) still glow evenly!
