1963 Omega Seamaster 30

Description

This early 1963 Omega Seamaster 30 is one of the less common 1960s Omegas, which houses a fine caliber 286 manual winding movement that was just cleaned and is accurate. The stainless steel case measures 35mm and has the correct Omega hesalite crystal and correct Omega winding crown. I love the simple thin pencil-style hands and elongated steel markers on the original dial. There is the usual spotting on the dial and corrosion on the hands, which appears from age. The dial looks quite fine and has a reflective metallic appearance. Notice the beveled lugs on the unpolished case with sea monster screw-back. These watches look fairly large on the wrist; measuring a full-sized 35mm with a narrow bezel and an all-dial appearance. This watch also comes with a great-looking beads-of-rice Omega original bracelet, which fits up to a 7.5″ wrist.
