Description
This Omega Geneve dates to 1967 and is very clean overall. This watch is all about simplicity and functionality. Look at the perfectly balanced original dial with baton markers and handset. The winding crown is the correct Omega notched-version. Measuring 34mm across, this watch looks larger due to the narrow bezel and all-dial appearance. The workhorse caliber 565 automatic winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. This exact movement was also used in Omega’s robust Seamaster 200 (Banana) dive watch series from 1970. The amazingly preserved flat beads-of-rice bracelet will fit up to a 7.5″ wrist. This Omega is interesting, because it was a crossover model to the Seamaster. You can sometimes see this model with both Omega Geneve and Seamaster on the dial. This watch also has the sea monster relief logo on the case back. This Omega Geneve is less commonly seen.
