Description
This is a very desirable ref. 7159 vintage Tudor Monte Carlo chronograph by Rolex. This Tudor Monte Carlo had only one owner, who bought it when it was new. This iconic watch has reached ‘cult status’ around the world and is as collectible as the Paul Newman Rolex Daytona. Its massive case, measuring 40mmx12.5mm in stainless steel, is in excellent original condition, never polished – and maintains all the original Rolex parts. This stainless steel bezel is the original version, not the Rolex-factory replacement that most find on these watches. The pushers are also the original and not the replacement notched ones. The Valjoux 234 manual winding movement was overhauled and cleaned by our Rolex-approved watchmaker, with all functions operating perfectly. The cyclops crystal is original Rolex. The original dial and hands on this watch are among the best I have ever seen.
