Description
The original gilt exclamation dial and pointed crown guard on this Rolex Submariner is sublime. This may be the best dial I’ve offered on a ref. 5512. The dial does really glow, only for a second or two after light exposure. The watch has a serial 869xxx dating to 1962. The bezel insert appears to be a slightly later replacement. The bracelet was replaced and dates to the 1970s. The case was polished at some time and looks great. All serial numbers and 5512 writing is clear. This watch is spectacular to gaze upon.
