Description
This vintage 1959 Longines Conquest Power Reserve is an uncommon watch. The 35mm case with screw-back has never been polished and retains the original sharp-angled edges. The Longines winding crown is still present. The Longines caliber 294 is a 24-jewel automatic with a power reserve of 45 hours as indicated by the inner rotating disk, which displays the hours remaining in the mainspring. This movement was just meticulously serviced and is functioning perfectly. The complex dial is so interesting to gaze upon – completely original, as are the pencil-style hands. I love the embossed logo on the case back. This watch has an all-dial appearance and looks larger than its measurement. Included is a rare adjustable Longines bracelet with a sliding adjustable clasp that looks spectacular on the watch. The dial (in person) appears much cleaner than my close-up photos. This hard-to-find vintage watch is priced very well.
