If this were a Rolex Submariner with an underline dial such as this, the price would be astronomical. We believe the underline denotes Rolex’s change from radium to tritium in about 1964. These underlines appeared on many variations of Rolex watches for a very short time, making them extremely sought after. This 34mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date measures 34mm and dates to 1964. Notice the very clean original underline dial with original Dauphine hands. The 14k gold bezel and crown set off the look. The automatic winding caliber 1560 movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. I have priced this amazing-looking vintage Rolex watch extremely well.
