Look at this circa 1942 Rolex Skyrocket with an original and uncommon black 24-hour military dial. This dial looks amazing for its age. The original screw-back Rolex case was made by Pioneer in Canada, which Rolex did to circumvent duties. This 29mm gold-plated case was expensively re-plated to its original luster and maintains the original steel screw-back. The caliber 59 Rolex movement is signed properly under the dial. All the Skyrockets and Victory watches were signed this way. These WW2 military Rolex watches were sold to Canadian soldiers going overseas at the PX stores. This is a very fine example you will be proud to wear.
