This very uncommon vintage 1967 Grand Seiko 6246-9001 day/date automatic 62GS has such alluring angles on the stainless steel 36mm case. There is a case ding near 9:00 that I could remove…but this watch is unpolished and original, so I like to keep its battle scars through life. I love the polished sword hands and beautifully balanced steel markers on the very clean original dial. The fine 6246a automatic movement was cleaned, and is accurate. This watch was the first Grand Seiko to house an automatic movement and was only produced for two years. This is a very rare and desirable watch that ticks all the boxes for design and superior quality. This watch is priced very well.
