Description
This is a very rare Rolex Compteur stopwatch measuring 50mm in stainless steel with an original porcelain dial, which we (expensively) had a chip repaired between “20” and “25.” You would have never known the repair was done unless I mentioned it. These watches did not have signed cases, only the dial and movements were signed. Our watchmaker just overhauled the Rolex stopwatch movement and it is running perfectly. We believe (based on seeing one of these with the original box) that these Rolex stopwatches were only made for the Sri Lankan market and marketed by Cargills in the 1930s. This is a very rare Rolex that many will never see.
