Description
This is a very rare vintage 1968 Omega known as the “Golden Seamaster” with a rare sparkle dial. The ref. 168.023 is really not a watch you are going to see very often in solid gold. Few of these watches were produced. The magnificent 18k solid-gold case measures a hefty looking 36.5mm with beefy lugs. This watch has never been polished, adding to its desirability. The original dial is near perfect with sparkle paint that really catches the light. The hands are original with black inset – matching the markers. The correct Omega winding crown is present. Even the Omega hesalite crystal is installed. The chronometer-grade caliber 751 Omega movement was just cleaned and serviced. You may not see another of these for many years.
