Description
This is a large and seldom-seen 1971 Omega Automatic Seamaster having an uncommon light-pewter-toned dial, which really catches the light and changes in gray tones depending on the angle. This vintage Omega measures a modest 36mm and looks larger due to the beefy rounded 4.5mm-thick lugs. The workhorse caliber 565 movement is the same as the one used in the Omega Seamaster Poppy and Banana 200m dive watches (we coined the names of both of these watches). The date has a quickset feature when the crown is pulled out all the way. This watch retains the expensive signed Omega-logo hesalite crystal and correct Omega winding crown. On the wrist, this vintage Omega truly looks like new. This is a very reliable watch that can be worn daily.
