Description
Here is a vintage Omega Geneve dating to 1971 in stainless steel measuring 35mm and having the correct signed winding crown. This watch houses the fine Omega caliber 565 automatic winding movement, which is the same robust engine that drives the Seamaster 200 series of Omega dive watches (Omega Poppy and Banana – names we coined) from the same era. This movement was recently serviced and is keeping accurate time. The original dial on this Omega watch is sublime, with its long raised black inset baton markers and matching hands. I really like the framed date aperture. This date can be quick-set advanced by pulling the crown all the way out. The stainless steel screw-back adds value. This stainless steel mesh band is unsigned and I think looks great on this watch.
