Omega Constellation Rare Original Japanese Version

Description

These Japanese version Omega Constellation watches used to dumbfound us in the past when we found them. With the internet, we now know they were produced only for the Japanese market by Omega and were the last pie-pan dial Constellations produced by Omega. These are rare watches to find. The 34mm dog-leg case in steel retains a spectacular lustre with only minor marks from normal use. The original pie-pan dial and Dauphine hands are pristine. This caliber 1011 automatic movement (adjusted to positions and temperatures) was just serviced for the first time since its 1973 manufacture! My watchmaker says this watch was barely worn and he raved about its all-around incredible condition and the fact this was the first time this watch was opened. This movement offers a quick-set date feature. This vintage Omega Constellation retains its original Omega signed hesalite crystal and the correct Omega winding crown, which was not 10 sided for this watch. You could own a very fine and rare example.
