This is a very rare original, 18k white-gold Rolex Eaton’s Quarter Century watch! The 24.5mm round solid-gold case is not too small and makes this a larger-sized cocktail watch, which is very rare. This watch was given to employees of the Canadian store Eaton’s after 25 years of service. This particular Rolex dates to 1928, making it a very early watch! The manual winding Rolex movement was just cleaned and is keeping time very well! The dial is accurate and retains the original fancy blued steel hands. The original 18k white-gold, hinged case with filigree bezel is a correct and authentic contract case made for Rolex. Rolex saved duties by having many of their Canadian watches cased in Canada. These are very early and rare ladies Rolex watches that are highly sought after by collectors.
