Look at this ultra-rare (first we have seen in over 20 years) art deco ladies Rolex cocktail watch having solid 18k pink-gold spiraling lugs with stainless steel mirror-like bezel and steel snap back measuring 19.6×42.5mm lug to lug! The lugs curve and stretch in such a wonderful art deco swirl! One can imagine a moonlit night in the 1930s dancing under the stars while gazing at this art deco treasure wishing time would stand still! Time really has stood still in relation to the condition of this rarity. The solid, pink-gold lugs and steel case glisten and the matching, salmon-coloured, two-tone dial with reflective Roman-numeral register is fabulous. Note the original blued steel hands and sub-seconds. If we were to follow Rolex serial number records, this watch would be produced in 1927. But these records are not completely accurate going back that far. The case back is elegantly inscribed by the owner with the date “1937,” adding to the nostalgia. We have installed a simple cotton cord band that sets off the look as the original cord band had rotted. The manual winding Rolex movement was fully overhauled and cleaned by our watchmakers and is keeping accurate time.
