Description
This ref. 1601 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust dates to 1963 with a 909xxx serial. The solid-gold and steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet is completely original to the watch (dating to the fourth quarter of 1963) and exhibits spotless condition with some stretch, but surprisingly little for its age! The 36mm stainless steel case with a fluted gold bezel sparkles. The original and desirable silver, early 1960s generation dial with Dauphine hands is as clean as you will ever find. The caliber 1580 Rolex automatic movement was just cleaned and is accurate. It is so nice to find an all-original and classic 1963 Rolex Datejust in such fine shape!
