This vintage, all-original and correct early 1940s Rolex was made solely for the British market, hence the Dennison-signed stainless steel Rolex case. The case has a chrome top and steel back. This watch is a mid-size, measuring 31mm, which is slightly larger than the so called ‘boy’s size’ Rolex watches made for the Canadian market. The original dial is quite striking, with bullseye alternating reflective finish and original blued steel hands. This dial is really quite rare to find! The manual winding Rolex movement was recently cleaned and is accurate.
