Description
This 1930s stainless steel Rolex Prince ref. 1343A having the original and very rare green and black velvet box. We have never seen this Rolex box prior to this example. This 20x40mm stainless steel case displays very clean condition and retains the original and very hard-to-find Rolex Prince (signed Rolex patent) winding crown. This watch also has the original movement dust cover, which is quite valuable on its own. Most of these dust covers were discarded or lost by watchmakers. The manual winding and very fine Rolex Prince 15-ruby movement was just cleaned and is running accurately. This original dial maintains the original hands and has aged gracefully, by taking on a fine patina. We purchased this watch from the original owner whose grandfather stored the watch in a drawer for many decades.
