Look at the great, original condition that this vintage, all-original 1950s Breitling Chronomat ref. 769 exhibits. The stainless steel case measuring 36.5mm across with turning bezel is in very good overall condition with only the tiniest marks from normal use. The winding crown is signed. This example has the original, steel Dauphine hands, which are uncommonly found. The Chronomat was promoted as a watch for engineers, mathematicians, and scientists, as it was able to perform regular timing and more complicated financial calculations. The Breitling caliber 175 by Venus sparkles and is running perfectly, with all functions operating like silk after a recent, meticulous cleaning and overhaul.
