Description
It is very uncommon to find oversized watches from the 1930s or 1940s. This vintage circa late-1930s military Doxa is massive and uncommon, measuring a full 38mm and looks even larger due to the very narrow bezel. The lugs are fixed bars, suggesting this was meant to be a military-grade watch. The inner dust cover also supports this military likelihood. The accurate just-cleaned manual winding Doxa movement is protected by a signed dust cover. The copper-coloured original Roman dial still looks amazing considering its age. The thin blued steel hands are original.
