Description
This is a huge, 1970s Hamilton Chrono-Matic automatic chronograph known as the Fontainebleau, which uses the same configuration as Breitling and Bulova movements of the era and was designed by Buren. The caliber 11, which was the very first automatic winding chronograph movement produced! The steel case with screw back measures a massive 47mm across and 14mm thick. The shimmering case displays very fine shape overall. The original white-silver dial with black sub-registers looks fabulous having stark contrast. The automatic winding caliber 11 movement was just cleaned, overhauled, and is functioning flawlessly. This watch offers a quickset date feature.
