Description
Look at this spectacular Heuer Bund flyback chronograph! The Heuer Bund’s were built to specifications for the German armed forces in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They housed high-quality Valjoux manual winding movements, of which most understand their quality and reliability. This particular movement was cleaned and is accurate, with all functions operating smoothly. The cases are brushed, matte, stainless steel with polished back, having the military inscription. These cases suit modern tastes due to the massive 43mm width and 13mm thickness. Four screws attach the top part of the case and bezel to the back, holding the crystal and gasket into place, while the movement is encompassed inside the back. This particular example is all around original and exhibits only the slightest case marks, which are only visible in my magnified pictures, but not with the naked eye. The original tritium (glowing) dial with red tritium indication (3H) is as clean as you will ever find. All the hands are original as well. The original turning bezel is pristine. The original and barely used Bund (signed) leather strap is included. The clean and precise look the Heuer Bund watch exudes really makes these an ideal choice for the discerning collector. This is the best example you will find!
