This is an all-original, vintage, early and rare 1930s ladies LeCoultre Reverso in shimmering stainless steel, measuring 11x33mm in the wonderfully preserved original Reverso, flip-over case. The Reverso recently celebrated its 75th year of history and is still being produced to this day! This ladies version is a museum piece as far as we are concerned. They just don’t appear. We have never, ever seen another ladies version and are quite certain you won’t find one. If you know of another, please let us know! Luckily, there were never any inscriptions on the mirrored side of the flip case. The case closes firmly with no sloppiness – it was obviously gently preserved over the years. The original movement, dial, and cases by LeCoultre were often not signed on these very early pieces. Again, it is completely correct LeCoultre manufacture, or the movement was supplied by Tavannes as some of the very first Reversos were. The dial and glass crystal are original, as are the hands on this rarity. We have installed a lovely black lizard band that accentuates all aspects of this fine watch. We had the watch fully serviced and it is keeping accurate time.
