1970s Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Automatic

Description

Look at this uncommon vintage 1970s LeCoultre Memovox automatic winding (mechanical) alarm watch! The 37x41x12.5mm oval case with stainless steel (signed) screw back is in very fine condition without major dings or scratches. This variety of LeCoultre is quite uncommon. The blue-jean-coloured dial with rotating inner alarm disk, raised circular steel markers, and matching steel hands are all in like-new condition. The original LeCoultre-logo alarm setting and winding crowns are both present. We just had the high-caliber ball-bearing, rotor automatic LeCoultre movement fully serviced and it is ready to provide years of reliable wear. This watch was owned by a prominent judge in the USA who also served in Vietnam. His daughter sold the watch to us after he passed away and wanted this information passed along to the new buyer. She also mentioned he was an exemplary man in all respects who was well-liked by all who knew him. This particular Memovox alarm watch exudes a very modern style and is quite striking in its form.
