Description
We think vintage Longines chronographs are undervalued at present. This spectacular Valjoux 726 Longines chronograph with exotic and pleasing black (original) dial, having white minute chapter and chronograph registers is in fabulous overall shape! The white baton hands still glow and are all original. Notice the vibrant, neon-orange and black (still glowing) acrylic bezel with only minor paint-wear that is barely visible by the naked eye. The manual winding Valjoux 726 is accurate, sparkling, just cleaned, and is keeping time. The Valjoux 726 is one of the finest chronograph movements ever produced. The 726 is an updated version of the Valjoux 72. As you may know, it was used in the Rolex Paul Newman Daytona. The stainless steel, Longines screw-back case is gleaming like platinum and is scratchless, without any dings. This is a prime example! Notice the original Longines winding crown. These Longines chronograph watches are quite rare and will be highly sought after in the future by collectors, especially those in vibrant orange!
