Here is a clean and great-looking 1945 Longines automatic. This fine watch measures 33.5x41mm lug-to-lug and is housed in a signed Longines gold-filled case that is without any wear or major scratches. It is uncommon to find a case so well-preserved in a gold-filled watch. The original dial lends vintage pizzazz with only the slightest age marks that are barely visible with the naked eye – showing up much more in my close-up pictures only. The Dauphine hands and sweep seconds are original to the watch. The caliber 22AS Longines movement is of very high quality and was just cleaned and regulated by our Rolex-approved watchmaker. You will notice the elongated and curved lugs, which exemplifies 1950s styling.
