This fine vintage 1940s Longines is a wonderful-looking, small watch in stature measuring 27.5mm. It is a mens watch that was manufactured in an era when watches were meant to be subtle and functional. This Longines could also be worn by a woman if desired! The perfectly restored black dial retains its original, simple, Arabic gold numerals, large sub-seconds, and matching diamond-style gold hands which are very striking and stylish! The gold-filled case with snap back is spectacular with no wear through and shiny, downturned 1940s-style lugs, which is very reminiscent of a Patek Philippe or Vacheron Constantin in its simplicity and elegance.
