Description
This 1940s Longines Weems navigator’s watch is a rare version, measuring 33.5mm, with wide-turning and locking bezel. The original blued steel hands are present. The dial is completely original and is becoming hard to find, being unrestored. When we found this watch it had R.C.A.F (Royal Canadian Air Force) markings hand inscribed. We are not sure if this is original or was added later – but we left them. The manual winding Longines 10L movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. These watches form an important part of aviation history.
