Description
This is a very uncommon Lord Elgin Top Hat measuring 21x36mm in a 14k solid-yellow-gold curved case with original winding crown. The 21-jewel very fine Lord Elgin movement is accurate after a recent cleaning. Notice the fabulous beveled lugs, curved 14k gold case, and crystal, which is reminiscent to the 1950s automobile stylings. The dial with raised gold markers and Dauphine hands has aging, but the patina lends a true vintage look. This is an amazing-looking, solid-gold watch on the wrist.
