1960s Nivada Chronoking Chronograph

Description

This vintage 1960s stainless steel Nivada Chronoking is a fairly uncommon find. The stainless steel 43x46x16mm (1.69×1.8x.6″) case with unidirectional bezel, original dial, and hands all show very good condition. The most appealing part of this watch is how closely the sub-register fonts resemble those of the Rolex Paul Newman dial – they are almost exact! The movement is the famed caliber 72 by Valjoux, which is keeping time accurately with all chronograph functions operating smoothly. The crystal is sapphire and the crown is original and signed. We installed an expensive and collectable Swiss Tropic rubber band with original buckle to complete the look.
