Description
Here is a vintage 1940s Royce Chronograph watch. Royce and Eska watch company was founded in 1918 by S. Kocher & Co. SA. The Royce watch company utilized movements and cases from other Swiss watch companies throughout its history. This ’40s example utilizes a 34mm Bovet chrome-plated case and Bovet chronograph (fine) manual winding movement, which is accurate, along with the chronograph feature functioning perfectly. The dial is original; having colourful blue telemeter and red tachymeter scale, along with Arabic numeral luminous, blued-steel hands and two-tone dial. The chrono sub-registers are darker than the dial when viewed in person. This case has an even patina/wear in the chrome case and looks much better when viewed on your wrist rather than by bright close-up photos. This watch exemplifies the look of the ’40s and will draw many eyes to your wrist whilst wearing.
