Description
This vintage 1970s Royce Leadership 600 watch offers quite a bit for the money. Royce and Eska watch company was founded in 1918 by S. Kocher & Co. SA. The Royce watch company utilized movements and cases from other Swiss watch companies throughout its history. This watch features an automatic winding 57 jewel day/date movement. The side pusher adjustment allows the roulette coloured (red-to-black) date to be quick-set. The amazing-looking silver dial appears pristine. The dial is clean, light-silver coloured, while reflections make it look darker as in my photo. Notice the polished sword hands and turning bezel. The notched crown is “Royce” signed with the letter R. The stainless steel screw-back case having the raised gold Royce emblem looks great and measures a very respectable 35.6mm. This is one very cool vintage watch.
