Ikepod Hemipode GMT Chronograph

Description

Appearing in 1998, the Ikepod Hemipode chronometer-grade chronograph caught many watch collectors attention. The black, steel 44m case with its contrasting chronograph dial is so beautifully balanced to the eye. The 6:00 GMT register displays a second time zone which is adjusted by the 8:00 pusher. The original supple rubber band is pristine. This Ikepod was designed by Marc Newson; a very influential modern designer, who also helped design the Apple watch. The chronometer-grade movement is the famous Valjoux 7750, running accurately. These watches visually pop on the wrist. No box and papers with this one.
