Description
This vintage 1972 King Seiko 5625-7040 Hi-Beat Green Dial example is very difficult to find with this colour dial. The 36.5mm steel case with faceted and angular lugs retains all the DNA of the Grand and King Seiko design elements. The fine caliber 7040 hi-beat-automatic-winding movement is working quite well. The only flaw in the stunning, graduated-colour-dial, is on the far edge near the number four, and not noticeable. This incredibly attractive dial has polished-steel-markers and hands which flicker mesmerisingly under different light conditions. The crystal is sapphire. The uncommon original King Seiko steel buckle alone is worth almost $200 alone. A very fine Japanese leather band completed the look.
