Description
This is the IWC Polo club designed by Gerald Genta, who also created the Patek Philippe Nautilus, Omega Constellation, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Universal Geneve Polerouter. This watch is among the rarest of all IWC contemporary watches; with only 200 pieces produced in this black dial version in 1976. The original dial on this watch is stunning; being glossy black with silver print and having vanilla lume on the markers and hands. The 39mm stainless-steel case looks unworn; as the owner of this watch preserved it with minimal wear. I would say the watch displays new-old-stock condition and even has the factory sticker on the rear. The spectacular stainless-steel-integrated bracelet is pristine. One can see how talented of a designer Gerald Genta truly is. The cal. 854 automatic winding IWC movement (which was fitted in the legendary IWC Ingénieur) is ticking away very accurately. This watch directs eyes to your wrist. You could invest in one of the finest looking and rarest of the IWC sporting model line of watches.
