Description
This 1966 vintage Omega Seamaster De Ville was stored for decades and not worn. We just had the cal. 565 movement serviced and my watchmaker mentioned that the mechanism was pristine. This is a crystal-removing case so we do not have movement pictures in order to avoid damage. The watchmaker also mentioned this was the first time the watch was opened and cleaned. The original owner here in London, Ontario, Canada sold this piece to me and said it was barely used. The dial on this watch makes it rather special; being black with gold-gilt printing, along with elongated gold-tone markers and Arabic numerals. Finding black dials on these watches is very uncommon. This original dial is flawless. The original winding crown – while gently pulling out all the way will quick-change the date. The Omega case measures 34mm. This bezel is solid-gold and the lugs are gold-capped, with the case-back being stainless steel. This Omega watch has never been polished. I think the pictures say everything.
