Description
This 1916 33mm sterling silver Elgin vintage trench watch looks great! The hunter case displays excellent condition. The porcelain dial is original, as are the hands and lume. There are some (usual) hairline cracks in the dial that are barely visible with the naked eye. The 7-jewel gilded manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. According to the Elgin website, only 3000 of these watches were produced, and I’m sure much fewer exist. The miltary inscription on the case back certainly enhances the collectability.
